Your journey begins as you depart from Edinburgh, passing by the imposing Stirling Castle, steeped in centuries of history. Catch sight of the famous Wallace Monument, a tall-standing tribute to a legendary Scottish hero. Our first stop takes us to the charming Highland village of Callander. Here, you have the option to embark on a boat cruise, seeking an encounter with the legendary Nessie.
Our next destination is Inverness; the capital of the Highlands and a perfect spot to enjoy lunch and recharge for the last stretch of our journey. You will visit the Culloden Battlefield, where you will learn about the pivotal Battle of Culloden during the Jacobite Uprising in 1746. Heading south, we traverse the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, stopping in Pitlochry.

Leaving the capital in the morning, we travel past the stunning Stirling Castle sitting dramatically atop a steep rock. We travel through the wild landscapes of Rannoch Moor before stopping at one of Scotland s most iconic landmarks, Glen Coe. Continuing to Fort William, we get the chance to embark on a magical 2-hour ride on the Jacobite Steam Train*. Our afternoon continues with a scenic ferry ride* from Mallaig to the famous Isle of Skye, where we arrive at the capital town of Portree with its colourful harbour. (Overnight: Portree)
DAY 2: Isle of Skye
We spend the day exploring the dramatic Isle of Skye with its amazing scenery, myths and legends. Hear tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie s escape from the mainland against the backdrop of the jagged Cuillin Mountains. Highlights include the mysterious rock formation of the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock with its cascading waterfall. We bid farewell to the Isle of Skye as we depart the island via the Skye Bridge. On our way east, castle enthusiasts will fall in love with Eilean Donan Castle, arguably one of Scotland s most romantic photo spots.
Our journey leads us to the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre, nestled within the heart of the Highlands. Here, we delve into the admirable work of Trees for Life, a charity committed to the revival of Scotland s ancient Caledonian Pine Forest. It s time to go monster spotting! Our destination is Loch Ness, where we take a break and attempt to catch a glimpse of the legendary Nessie while enjoying the shores of Fort Augustus. Next, we make a stop at the Commando Memorial, offering stunning views of Ben Nevis, the tallest peak in Britain. Heading further north, we explore the charming village of Dunkeld and its historic cathedral on the banks of the River Tay.
As we journey back to Edinburgh, we re treated to one final awe-inspiring sight: the historic Forth Rail Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We arrive in the capital in the early evening.

Leaving Edinburgh we journey west past the ancient city of Stirling towards the scenic beauty of Loch Lomond. Visit the ancient Dunadd Fort before continuing towards the bustling port town of Oban for our ferry to Mull, where we spend two nights in Tobermory.
DAY 3: Tobermory
After breakfast, we check-in for our cruise to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa. Sit back and relax on our water-based adventure around the beautiful Treshnish Isles. Throughout this six-hour extravaganza keep an eye out for dolphins, seals, eagles and whales, while listening to commentary from our wildlife guide. We spend two hours on Lunga to explore the large puffin colony* that nest in burrows on the grassy hill side sounded by wildflowers. Listen to tales of giants and geology as we sail to Staffa and marvel at Fingal s Cave. Enjoy the beautiful island views and marine life as we return to Tobermory. DAY 4: Tobermory to Oban
Today we travel across mountainous Mull to visit the spiritual Isle of Iona, often referred to as the sacred heart of Scotland. Leaving Dublin travel via Clonmacnoise (a monastic site overlooking the River Shannon. Arrive in Galway where you can visit the Galway Crystal Factory, the Spanish Arch and Galway s Cathedral. Overnight in Co. Galway.
Day 3. Connemara
Spend a full day touring the unspoilt area of Connemara. Highlights of this magical region include Clifden, the Sky Road, Roundstone, Killary Harbour, the Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the Maam Valley. Irish is still spoken in many parts of this area. Overnight in Co. Galway.
Day 4. Connemara to Killarney
An early morning start to catch the spectacular Cliffs of Moher— which fall 200m steeply into Atlantic ocean. Pass through the haunting area of the Burren—a leftover from the last glacial period, visiting Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, where one can stop for a pint of stout at durty Nellies. Continue on to Adare Village before arriving in Killarney. In the afternoon stroll around Muckross House and Gardens where the nineteenth century Victorian mansion is set against the stunning beauty of Killarney Lakes and National Park. Overnight in Co. Day 5. Ring of Kerry
A full day tour of the famous Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is one of Ireland s most scenic touring routes. At 110 miles long, it circles the awe-inspiring Iveragh Peninsula. Day 6. Killarney to Cork
Drive to Cork, Ireland s second city. One must visit Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone followed by a browse in the Woollen Mills. Either head for Kinsale or explore the Jameson Heritage Centre and finally before the end of the evening see the Shandon Bells and the Cork City Goal. Overnight in Co. Cork.
Day 7. Cork to Dublin
Head for Cashel where you will catch sight of its Rock. The Rock of Cashel is a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on a rocky outcrop of limestone, looming above the town of Cashel,County Tipperary. There is a 12th Century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century castle and the Hall of the Vicars. In the afternoon stop in medieval Kilkenny. Take time to visit Kilkenny Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre before making your final journey back to Dublin. Overnight in Co. Dublin.

Day 1 London Area
Arrive in London and head to your accommodation where you will stay for the first two nights of your tour. Depending on your arrival time, we recommend a visit Hampton Court Palace, a grade 1 listed royal palace located in the London borough of Richmond upon Thames. Building of this Tudor palace commenced in 1515 for Cardinal Wolsey, the chief minister of Henry VIII, and it is set amongst acres of beautiful gardens. Day 2 London area
Head into central London for the day. From museums and architecture, to its modern food and music scene, there really is something for everyone in this cosmopolitan city. Talk a walk along the Thames from Westminster to see Tower Bridge, passing by the famous The Shard , the UK s tallest building. Enjoy the wonderful food in Chinatown and explore nearby Soho.
Day 3 Bath/Bristol
Drive southwest to the Bath/ Bristol area, ca. 180km from London. We recommend planning your journey via Salisbury to visit its wonderful cathedral, a masterpiece of the early Gothic style. A piece of the original Magna Carta can also be viewed. The UNESCO site of Stonehenge, the famous prehistoric site on Salisbury Plain, is on the way too and visits must be prebooked to gain access to the site. Plan a stop at the Cheddar Cheese Gorge, one of the last remaining cheddar cheese companies driving to your next accommodation. 2x overnights in the Bath/Bristol area.
Day 4 Bath/Bristol
Use this day to explore the Roman City of Bath, also known as the most beautiful City in South England and a world heritage site. Bath was named after its Roman-built baths and a visit (included) to the Roman Baths and Pump Room are very worthwhile or you can walk around the beautiful Georgian architecture on the Royal Crescent.
Day 5 Stratford-upon-Avon/Warwickshire area
Continue your journey towards Stratford-upon-Avon/ Warwickshire, ca. 130km drive. Plan your route through the beautiful and romantic area of the Cotswolds and enjoy a traditional English Cream Tea. Visit Burton-on-the-Water, a scenic Cotswold village, often called Venice of the Cotswolds and walk along the traditional stone buildings that the Cotswolds area is renowned for. Day 6 Stratford-upon-Avon/Warwickshire area
Explore the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare. There are five Shakespeare houses in total, 3 of which are in the town itself and they are wonderfully preserved and offer fascinating insights into the life of Shakespeare and his family. Day 7 London area
Return to the London area, a drive of circa 220km. En-route, a stop to visit Blenheim Palace is included, birthplace of Winston Churchill or drive to the famous city of Oxford, a city that revolves around its famous University of Oxford first established in the 12th century. The architecture of the city has led it to be called the City of Dreaming Spires and whether exploring the many historic buildings, museums and colleges or taking in the modern shopping and eating facilities the city has a lot to offer. For shopping lovers, a stop at the Bicester Outlet Centre is highly recommended. 1x overnight in the London area.
Day 8 London area

Day 1 - Welcome Scotland

Day 2 - Isle of Bute
2 nights on Isle of Bute, journey to Isle of Bute, ca. 60km
Today you will be driving to the Isle of Bute. Make your way to Wemyss Bay where you will board the ferry to Rothesay. The Isle of Bute is a rather underrated island, very compact but full of varied landscapes.
Day 3 - Isle of Bute
The 23-mile loop will take you all the way around the island. Enjoy views over Kyles of Bute, Arran and beyond. For shorter rides we recommend the loop from Rothesay to Kingarth. Here you have the chance to visit Mount Stuart an extravagant mansion from the 19th century.
Day 4 - Loch Lomond
1 night Area Loch Lomond, journey to area Loch Lomond, ca. 80km
Make your way up North and take the ferry from Rhubodach to Colintraive. Tickets for this crossing can t be pre-booked as it is operated as turn up and go .
Drive towards Arrochar. We recommend a quick detour to Inveraray. A small town on the western shore of Loch Fyne. You also have the opportunity to visit Inveraray Castle - private residence of the Clan Campbell.
Day 5 - Oban
2 nights Area Oban, journey to Oban, ca. 100km
Your destination for the day will be Oban, a vibrant harbour town on the West Coast of Scotland. You can either take the more crowded road via Glencoe with breath-taking views or the quieter route via Tyndrum and Lochawe. If you go for the second option, we recommend to stop at Kilchurn Castle. It s a picturesque castle ruin on a small peninsula.
Day 6 - Isle of Mull - Isle of Ioana - Staffa
Today you take a day trip to the Isle of Mull, Iona and Staffa. The three islands tour will offer you an unforgettable journey through the stunning scenery of the Isle of Mull, delve into the ancient history of Iona then onto the unique Isle of Staffa to see the geological wonders of Fingal s Cave. Aboard the ferry in Oban to the Isle of Mull where you will be expected by a coach and English-speaking guide.
Day 7 - Isle of Arran - Ayr

Day 8 - Dumfries

Day 9 - Scottish Borders - Gretna Green
We recommend going to the Scottish Borders today.
Start in Gretna Green, a small town that has become famous for its weddings. In the past, young couples in England and Wales were forbidden to marry without their parents consent. That s why some eloped to Scotland or Gretna Green to tie the knot there. Afterwards you can drive to Hadrian s Wall, an ancient Roman border fortification system of the British Limes. You can still see remains of the border wall today. You can also stop in Hawick for a visit the famous Johnstons of Elgin cashmere mill.
Day 10 - Edinburgh
Head back to the Edinburgh area today, ca. 140km. Walk along the Royal Mile to the Ediburgh castle or go shopping in New Town

Day 4. Co. Antrim - Dark Hedges - Giant s Causeway
Make your way to the Antrim Coast. On the way you should not only enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Glens of Antrim but also the following film locations: Shane s Castle, near Randalstown, Shillanavogy Valley, Glens of Antrim and Cairncastle. Take a break at Cushendun Caves: The Red Priestess gave birth to the Shadow Baby in these caves or Murlough Bay, one of the most beautiful bays on the Antrim Coast. Theon Greyjoy and Yara were riding here on their way to Pyke. Ballycastle: a lovely little village. Parts of it were used as backdrop for the Free Cities where Varys was born. Visit the Dark Hedges near Armoy.

Day 5. Dunluce Castle - Co. Derry
An early morning start to visit Dunluce Castle. The imposing ruins were used as template for the exterior of the House Greyjoy of Pyke. Mussenden Temple & Downhill Strand should be your next stop. Day 3. Glendalough - New Ross - Waterford

Today your journey continues in the East of Ireland, an area which has been subject to strong Christian, Viking and Norman influences over time. First visit the glacial valley of Glendalough, honeypot of the Wicklow Mountains National Park with its spectacular sceneries, home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland, founded in in the 6th century.your road to the South. Ireland saw its biggest human catastrophe in the mid 19th, when the potato crop failed a couple of years in a row and resulted in the big Famine between 1845 - 1849, that left around one million Irish people dead and saw a couple of million people emigrate until 1900. Day 1 - 1 overnight area Glasgow
Welcome to Bonnie Scotland!
Arrival to Scotland. Depending on your time of arrival, you might have time to visit Glasgow, Scotland s largest City. It is known for its architecture, culture, and art districts as well as acclaimed museums and thriving music scene. Alternatively stop it Stirling and visit its majestic castle.
Day 2 - 2 overnights area Fort William/ Ballachulish
Loch Lomond - Glencoe Valley - Fort William
You will head north towards Fort William and drive past the largest Loch of Scotland- Loch Lomond. Once you leave Loch Lomond behind you, you will notice a change in the landscape. Brace yourself for windy roads and steep mountains. Once, you are hit by the full force of the breath-taking and beautiful scenery that is in front of you, you will know that you have reached the Glencoe Valley. Take advantage of the different parking facilities along the road.
Day 3. Fort William - Glenfinnan
Fort William is a hub for adventurers and hikers. Today you can either explore the area and go for a hike or venture west towards Mallaig. You will almost drive parallel to the Jacobite Steam Train. Stop at Glenfinnan where you will find an interesting visitor centre, the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Glenfinnan Monument. We recommend scheduling your visit according to the times when the Jacobite Steam Train is crossing the viaduct. Continue to Mallaig. It s not a big village but is surrounded by lovely white sandy beaches. Return to Fort William.
Day 4 - 2 overnights area Inverness/Aviemore
Fort Augustus - Loch Ness Cruise - Inverness/Aviemore
Today you will go for a hunt for the mystical monster of Loch Ness - Nessie. You will pass the quaint town of Fort Augustus and continue towards Inverness. Stop at the Clansman Hotel and enjoy a traditional Cream Tea with a unique view over Loch Ness followed by a relaxing cruise. You will have the chance to experience the Loch Ness from a different angle and even see the famous Urquhart Castle. If you are lucky enough, Nessie might even make an appearance. You should include a quick visit of the capital of the Highlands - Inverness. We recommend a relaxing walk along the river Ness.
Day 5. Speyside - Distillery - Cooperage
You should explore the Speyside today. It is home to well over 60 distilleries at present. You will also have the chance to attend a distillery tour including tasting. We also suggest visiting the Speyside Cooperage. The only working cooperage in the UK where you can experience the ancient art of coopering (closed Saturday & Sunday).
Day 6 - 2 overnights in the area of Edinburgh.
Cairngorms National Park - Pitlochry - Edinburgh
Make your way down south. You will notice that the rugged mountains will slowly turn into green hills and forests. If you fancy a bit of souvenir shopping, we recommend stopping at the House of Brurar . A department store that focusses on Scottish products. In Pitlochry you should visit the Blair Castle and its gardens. Continue your journey to Edinburgh.
Day 7. Edinburgh Castle - Royal Mile - Carlton Hill
Today you have the chance to visit Edinburgh. Take a stroll along the Royal Mile and visit the Edinburg Castle. Proudly sitting on top of Castle Rock. Listen to one of the many pipers in Old Town, enjoy the scenic view from Carlton Hill and visit one of many boutiques on George Street.
Day 8. Back Home
